This was one reason I wanted a decent camera.  The winters here can be so pretty and I don't know why or what I will really do with them but I've always wanted to take really nice pictures of the trees when they look like this.   It's really neat that they have leaves on them still.

Yes, I do have other children. Thanks for asking.  Mostly they don't ever want me to take their pictures.  Pink is a whiz in the iPad (but since she also calls the heating pad the iPad, sometimes it gets confusing.)  Once she told me she was sitting on the the iPad and I freaked out.  Oops, other iPad.

My mom made me wet his hair down and I'm glad she did.  It's SO MUCH cuter when it's curly.  Every time I see his curls I think to myself "Curly haired dolls that toddle and coo, elephants, skates and kiddy cars too, Santa Clause is coming to town."  Can't help it.   He is my curly haired doll.

More from Green's birthday Party.  We blew up 100 balloons and put them in our room so the kids could play in them and they would be semi contained.  They LOVED it.  It's hard to plan an activity for a 1 year old birthday but this pleased everyone.  Even my 10 year old brother!

SOOOO I am WAY behind in my photo posting.  I'm going to blame my sister.  She borrowed my camera and then I forgot to get it back.  Also, I forgot to post photos so I guess it's not all her fault.

I have quite a few from Green's birthday party and I guess I never specified (or maybe I did) if I was going to TAKE a photo a day or POST a photo a day.  Either way I'm so far behind it's like starting over.  So let's play catch up and I'll post whatever I want.  Deal?

I took this Christmas morning with my new camera.  So excited for my camera, their matching jammies and these faces!!

Todd was teaching the kids a valuable life skill from his childhood.... Straw Fighting.  No kid can get thru Elementary school with out a vast knowledge of how to win at Straw Fighting.

Today Blue was Reading Royalty which means he read 100 books!!!  He got to cut a jewel off the teachers vest, sit in the Royal Throne and take a Royal Walk down the Royal Runway.  I'm so proud of him!!  You can see that he picked BLUE of course for his jewel.  Grandpa, Auntie, Kiss, Pink, Green and myself attended this regal event.  It was a fun half hour at school

This lid has become his favorite toy.  We set it on his head then he grabs for it and laughs and laughs.  Such simple pleasures.  Nothing makes me smile faster than a baby giggle.
