We braved the cold and went out sledding.  Next to our shed it drifted up quite a bit and was the perfect place to sled.  I got lucky with this shot.  The kids needed my help so I couldn't spend much time snapping pictures.  I think we are going to go back out later.

Todd gave me these a few days after Valentine's Day.  They are still hanging on.  As for me.... off to bed with a raging head ache.  Sweet Dreams.

Low Angle, Day 2.  Marbles was the purr-fect subject.  It's too easy.  The jokes write themselves folks.  (I'm a dork, I know).  Cat tree courtesy of my mom for Christmas.  Now we just need to add the perch on top.

I jumped on the bandwagon (team maybe?) with Joanna and have decided to join their weekly challenge of what to shoot.  This week's assignment is Low Angle.  I'm pretty new to photography as far as taking something other than pictures of my children, and I could learn a thing or 2 about that as well. So this is stepping WAY outside of my box.  I'm really hoping to learn some things along the way.   Thanks Joanna for letting me tag along on your weekly topics.

We had the Cheetah costume made by a friend of ours for last years (2009) costume.  The Zebra one my mom got when Blue was about the same age and Green's costume is a pair of his jammies, a hat I couldn't resist and wings made by his mother... (yes I'm talking about me!)

Blue settled in to the Wii after my brothers left and he didn't have anyone to play with.  And yes his shirt does say "In Case of Emergency, BREAKDANCE!"

Here is a better shot of the boomer cups filled with peanut butter and jelly.  We had SO MUCH using her new piping tips.  We used them for E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G!

You can see the Lime and Orange ones better here.  The muffin tins were a great way to fill these and refrigerate.

Jello Shots, Jello Shots and MORE Jello Shots.  The Carmel Apples ones were FANTASTIC.  The Lime ones were very good as well.  I think the Lemon ones tho, left a little to be desired.  Next time I think I'd fill them with raspberry jello like the Orange halves.  Those were so tasty!

This one really was a chalkboard.  My mom and I nearly got rid of it at a garage sale. My sister stepped in an saved it from a life of child use.  Perfect way to tell people which door to use off the porch!  Vintage suitcase held nothing but style for the porch.

Another one of the frames we painted and painted the cardboard insert with chalkboard paint.  Taco bites were so very good!  I could eat them right now.  My sister had such great ideas for entertaining.  I can't wait to see how their wedding comes together.  I may be too tired to attend.

Cheesecake bars with strawberries cut into hearts and strawberry jello on top.  Delicious!

We made these boomer cups with graham crackers in the bottom, then jelly then peanut butter with pretzels for the kids.  Love the little dipping cups.  Just their size.

My sister and her fiance had a housewarming party.  We spray painted old frames till we were high as kites and made food till our feel fell off.  But look how pretty and how much fun!
